Adrian is Mezzo Labs’ founder and CEO.
It was his idea to start Mezzo back in 2006, having watched marketing teams spend big budgets based on gut feel and ego.
Adrian’s mission is simple: to make the world’s greatest analytics consultancy. He won't rest until he’s finally made it.
When not “creating wow” and watching TED lectures, Adrian is usually to be found in a karaoke box belting out 90s indie rock classics.
Alex HolmanHead of Product
Alex believes that constant innovation and automation is needed to succeed with data. He is the mind behind Uplifter, an AI tool that makes websites better, by automating web analytics tasks with crowdsourced solutions.
Before building Uplifter, Alex worked closely with some of our biggest clients, using his Economics degree to help them get them a maximum return from digital data.
Alex feels alive in the evening, by either attending tech functions and parties or running long distances with his club, London Frontrunners.
Aliur RahmanHead of Strategic Analytics & Conversion
Aliur has over 13 years' experience working in analytics, experimentation and personalisation. He has built and led large teams for global companies including Barclays, Accenture, HSBC and Experian.
Aliur loves gardening, football and reading social psychology books. His free time is spent chauffeuring his three children, and one of his favourite quotes is: "It doesn't make sense to hire smart people and tell them what to do; we hire smart people so they can tell us what to do" - Steve Jobs.
Babur MaroofTechnical Analyst
Having started his career as a web analyst, he quickly became involved in the more technical area of analytics, using Google Tag Manager to obtain a more rounded view of the customer journey while being able to deliver solutions to business questions.
In his spare time, Babur can be found on his local 5-a-side pitch being nutmegged almost too often. Failing that, you can find him watching Arsenal or playing the latest RPG game.
Chris WallisOptimisation Consultant
Chris has developed talents for everything in the AB testing journey, from initial strategy and build, through to in-depth statistical analysis. Through this he's become an expert in Adobe Target, AB Tasty, Maxymiser and more.
Chris is a huge squash enthusiast, having ventured as far as Egypt to watch a pro tournament. He’ll bring anyone down to the courts if they’re willing – thankfully a few of his colleagues help fuel his addiction. But he’s still working on convincing the others!
Clare HurstOptimisation Analyst
Clare has a master’s in maths and computer science and previously worked for an analytics team in a marketing agency before joining Mezzo Labs.
Clare’s favourite part of working in CRO is putting herself in the shoes of every user and considering what they might be thinking, then seeing if the data agrees.
In her spare time, Clare enjoys taking part in her local Parkrun (to justify the time she spends baking and eating the baking) and exploring London by Boris bike.
Claudia KendalHead of Training and Marketing
She joins us from Barclays where she spent over ten years working in various roles across Digital, Marketing, Performance Management and Data.
When she’s not in the office, she’s running around after two small children or talking about going to the gym!
Dan SalterInsight Consultant
With a background in commercial analysis, he started his journey back in the days of green screens & steam-powered databases! In addition to visualisation, Dan has a decade and a half of experience of designing and implementing data infrastructures on a variety of technologies.
When not at work, Dan runs a well-respected, if slightly niche, music review website and promotes live music at Shoreditch’s famous Strongroom Bar & Studios.
Darren HutchinsLead Technical Consultant
He joins us from the travel giant TUI, where he spent 5 years in digital analytics, introducing Adobe Analytics Premium across their entire UK web estate, and tracking their hybrid digital assistant apps.
When not at work, Darren can be found going to indie gigs. He’s also an avid Arsenal fan.
Francesca DelGuidiceTechnical Analyst
Francesca loves to learn! American by birth, she's studied and worked in digital analytics worldwide. Her current daily friends include Adobe Analytics & Google Analytics which she uses to tag websites and pull out insight.
She holds four degrees, a business degree from NYU Stern Business School, an MBA from St. Mary’s University and a Masters in Digital Marketing & Analytics from Regent’s University.
Francesca loves adventure and being as close to a digital nomad as possible. She's spent 3.5 years backpacking around the world - skydiving, hiking up volcanos, and swimming with anacondas.
Gaia AntonaciInsight Analyst
Gaia is part of the insight team and loves creating visually appealing work, and using her creativity to come up with actionable insights. To those who fear that digital intelligence is all about numbers, she says that her imagination, creativity and passion for any kind of art play a key role in turning confusing numbers into clear beautiful pictures.
In her free time, apart from trying to convince her colleagues to become true Italians, she loves wandering around impressionist galleries or discovering emergent rock bands in London’s independent clubs.
Greg GilesLead Technical Consultant
Prior to Mezzo Labs, he spent five years modelling data and generating digital insights in the analytics departments of two global advertising agencies.
Dogs, travelling and lifelong learning are Greg’s biggest passions in life. He is currently challenging himself both with mastering Python as well as teaching his puppy Brenda to fetch him a beer from the fridge (IG: brendas_got_a)
Ibrahim LawalOptimisation Analyst
He believes we are all optimisation analysts in our day to day lives. From our journey home to Granma’s soup recipe, always tweaking the variables and analysing the results until they are perfect.
In his spare time, he dabbles in a wide range of activities from basketball and skateboarding to music. His favourite pastime is playing league of legends.
Iulia CioaraInsight Consultant
Iulia specialises in gleaning insights from Google Analytics, Webtrends and Adobe.
After completing a Masters in Digital Marketing and Analytics at Regent’s University, London, Iulia became one of the shining successes of our internship programme before joining as a full-time member of Team Mezzo Labs. She enjoys creating beautiful dashboards, and finding meaningful insights hidden in the data to share with clients.
When not obsessing about details, she enjoys high-intensity cardio exercises such as shopping and ghetto Zumba.
Jacky ChanSenior Insight Analyst
He started his career as a digital analyst, focusing on product analytics for an employment website. This developed his expertise in tracking designs, drawing insights using Adobe Analytics and visualisations using Tableau.
A keen basketball player, Jacky also hits the gym every day to get rid of the results of eating four meals a day! He loves travelling to Japan to enjoy the amazing food and spectacular scenery.
Madalina GalieProject Manager
After living in Romania and Spain, she decided to move to London to pursue a career in the analytics’ industry. She holds two Project Management certifications, PRINCE2 and Agile, and is proficient in several languages, including Arabic.
In her spare time, she enjoys watching documentaries, eating out, and reading psychology articles.
Mark TealGeneral Manager, Singapore
Prior to this, Mark was Head of Growth and Partnerships ASEAN for Digitas Singapore, where he helped clients evolve their digital marketing strategy in an ever-competitive landscape. Key to this was exploring how data was being managed and analysed to understand customer behaviour and how it was activated via technology software.
Mark loves to run after work to decompress and is planning to take part in his first half-marathon later this year.
Mita MehtaManaging Consultant
Having previously worked at Debenhams and the ICAEW, Mita has a wealth of knowledge and expertise from different industries.
She’s a fully certified Business Practitioner in both Adobe Analytics and Google Analytics. She's a whizz at using these tools to mine data for the most meaningful insights that she showcases in beautiful dashboards and presentations.
In her spare time, Mita admits to not having one particular hobby. One day you’ll find her gardening, the next booking outrageous trips abroad or you’ll find her crashed on the couch binging a Netflix series.
Natalie HillFinance Director
Natalie eats numbers for breakfast.
A huge fan of spreadsheets, she was destined to work in finance and spent 15 years as a very happy accountant, controller and finance director in large organisations in the UK, France, India and the USA.
She joined Mezzo Labs in September 2010 and is now the proud controller of all things Accounting and Operations.
She holds the purse, does the number crunching and makes sure that everybody operationally has everything they need to make a success of the Mezzo business.
Patrick MilburnManaging Director, Hong Kong
He’s been in Hong Kong for almost 5 years, previously having been Head of Data, APAC, for Digitas. Patrick has been in digital since he started working and has seen its importance grow from the original need to ‘have a website’ to being the core of experiences customers have with brands. He loves leading part of an agency whose only focus is to help clients make better use of data.
In Patrick’s spare time he’s a keen sportsman, playing football around Hong Kong. Easily the hottest place he’s played!
Rupert AsheBoard-level adviser
He is also a serial entrepreneur who has started and sold four businesses. He currently runs the D5 Capital Investor Club of angel investors and family offices.
In his spare time, Rupert likes to write. In 2013, he published his first book: 'Making Money From Creativity - How To Sell A Marketing Services Agency’.
Sarika PatelTechnical Analyst
She loves working with Google Analytics and Tag Managers to ensure that clients analytics deliver the results they are looking for.
Sarika finds analytics is a way to delve into the digital world and make the pieces fit together. She believes that if businesses can create a perfect user experience, the user will keep coming back for more!
Aside from being a keen online shopper, with a knitwear collection boasting over 50 pieces, she also tries to get in some gym time balanced out with her love of socialising, travelling and trying new foods.
Sophie HillMarketing Executive
Prior to this, she interned at eBay in their digital content team. She graduated from the University of Portsmouth with a degree in American History and Politics which included a semester in Minnesota.
She can recite every US state in 30 seconds and aims to visit all 50 before she’s 50. Aside from being America-obsessed, she enjoys exploring London’s food scene and trying to fit a morning run in before work.
Steve KeightleyManaging Director, UK
Steve is the Managing Director for Mezzo Labs in the UK. He's responsible for growing the UK business plus leading Mezzo's team of technical, insight and conversion rate optimisation experts.
Before Mezzo Labs, Steve was Head of Client Services at Oracle Maxymiser. Prior to that he spent 6 years in Barclays Digital Banking and 5 years at Accenture.
Steve is a keen cyclist, whether that’s commuting to work or riding into the countryside at the weekend. He also does triathlons, so you’ll also find him running at lunchtimes, or down at the swimming pool. Steve is also a huge podcast fan and hopes to make his own series one day.
Tom DavenportLead Data Scientist
Most of his time is spent developing Uplifter, our flagship product that uses machine learning to improve website performance. He also enjoys sharing his expertise in programming and machine learning with the rest of the team.
Tom spends two evenings a week sword fighting as an avid fencing enthusiast. He also loves learning new skills, his latest venture is to play the bass guitar like Flea of the Red Hot Chillies.
Wale OleyeyeInsight Analyst
He began his career as a web editor for an online spread betting company and later moved to a digital consultancy where he worked in the content strategy and analytics team for 3 years.
Basketball is a huge passion of his and outside of work, he analyses basketball data then spams his friends with insights they didn’t ask for. He's also an avid rock climber, though he spends most of his time falling rather than getting to the top.
