For years, we've been using cookies to track our website visitors, improve user experience and collect data that helps us target marketing to the right audiences. We've also used them to learn about what users are doing online when they aren't on our websites.

But the way we use cookies could change dramatically with Google's announcement that it will phase out third-party cookies on Chrome browsers by 2022. While this will primarily affect the world of paid media, is this the shape of things to come? Will first party cookies be next? Will all visitors look like incognito browsers? What do we do?
